The Marion Community Foundation’s Community Grants Program offers funding to address the most pressing needs in Marion City and County, Ohio. Grants range from $100,000 to $500,000 and are awarded for one year.
The Foundation aims for local nonprofits to thoughtfully consider how their projects can create a meaningful impact on residents in Marion. Priority areas include providing food, shelter, and support; promoting community development; improving health and wellness; encouraging arts and culture; caring for animals and the environment; meeting immediate needs of children, families, or seniors; and supporting educational initiatives.
Approximately $500,000 is available for grant awards. Funds will be distributed from October 2025 through September 2026.
Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or equivalent, with a valid EIN number to verify tax-exempt status. Local nonprofits focusing on programs that benefit residents of Marion County, Ohio, are strongly encouraged to apply.
The application deadline is July 31, 2025.
