Criteria
The Fish and Wildlife Committee considers grant awards for prospective expenditures from non-profit organizations, schools, and government agencies. The Committee generally recommends funding projects that avoid operating costs and overhead – such as staff salaries, benefits, or utilities – and that minimize expenses dedicated to management of awarded projects. Recommendations for funding will be given to service-oriented and educational projects, or those involving the direct purchase of goods and materials that do not require installation or labor on public land or facilities.
