This opportunity will focus on collecting data and supporting research with the recipient focusing on protected area management and species range shifts driven by climate-change. To advance the research agenda on the future of species range shifts in a changing climate, the recipient will develop species-specific assessments of climate connectivity and potential range shifts for a suite of management-relevant species within the NC CASC protected area network including national forests and the unprotected matrix of federal, private, and tribal lands.

- Examine the impacts of climate change on species range shifts in the North Central Region.
- Analyze impacts on protected area management.
- Provide regional expertise for national synthesis effort and collaborate on other CAP Fellows research efforts.
