Recognizing the vital role these organizations play in addressing poverty, housing instability, food insecurity, and other critical social issues, the program aims to provide funding that helps ensure their long-term viability and continued impact in the communities they serve.
Eligible proposals may request funding for projects such as organizational restructuring; the development of contingency plans; program and impact evaluations; consulting services; capacity-building efforts, etc.
Funding Information
The Coover Regional Resiliency Grant Program will support up to $250,000 in projects, with a $15,000 – $25,000 range suggested for proposal consideration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible agencies must be nonprofit 501(c)3 or organizations with equivalent tax exempt status in good standing with the IRS.
- Eligible agencies (nonprofits, local government entities, or school districts) must serve in the CFO service area outside of Greene County.
- Applications that request more than $25,000 will not be considered.
- This is a single-year grant program with final reporting due one year from grant receipt.
- Applications may be for a portion of an overall expense if 1) funding for the remaining cost has been secured or 2) one portion can be delineated, with this grant program funding one separate portion.
- Projects requesting funding for religious worship, instruction or proselytization will not be considered.
