Daggett County through the County Economic Opportunity Advisory Board (CEO BOARD) is proud to offer 7 Grants in 2024 to the Local Businesses, 4 Grants for $10,000 and 3 Grants for $5000 for a Grand Total of $55,000 Being Granted! The hope is to provide an easy way for the current and new businesses to apply for funding to support economic growth and development in infrastructure within the County.
Funding Information
Four grants will be offered at $10,000.00 and three at $5,000.00.
Grant Period
Project must be completed within 10 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Business must be located within Daggett County.
- Funds must be used in Daggett County.
- This is a reimbursement grant.
- Must provide receipts or invoices for payment. Reimbursements can be made upon submission and requires 30 days for processing.
- Must provide a 10% match of requested funds. These funds must be spent before grant funds are made available.
- Application must be submitted in its entirety by application due date. All questions must be answered along with required documentation. No exceptions.
- Must submit a “Letter of Good Standing”. This is provided at https://tax.utah.gov/business/good-standing This takes up to 10 days to receive.
- Must have a Current Business License, if your business is required by law to be licensed.
- Used only for above mentioned initiatives.
- Applications must be submitted online.
What makes my Business or Project Ineligible?
- Proposed project is through a register 501(c)(3) or non-profit.
- Cannot be used for payroll costs, utilities or administrative costs.
- Purchases or work completed prior to the contract being signed are ineligible and will not qualify.
