To this end, the RCORP-Northern Border will implement a network-based approach to provide behavioral health care training and job placement in rural communities. This program addresses the ongoing critical need for behavioral health care professionals in rural communities of the northern border region. The first year of the program may be used for planning activities and formalizing a network, and the remaining three years must be dedicated to implementation of training and job placement.
