This NOFO will provide continued support for the National Mentoring Resource Center to help OJJDP grantees, the mentoring field, and practitioners more broadly by providing comprehensive resources and training materials on the OJJDP National Mentoring Resource Center website and providing TTA for OJJDP grantees to support youth mentoring programs in implementing safe, quality, and effective practices.
Goals and Objectives
- Maintain and enhance OJJDP’s National Mentoring Resource Center (NMRC) and improve the capacity of mentoring organizations to develop, implement, and expand effective mentoring practices across the nation.
- Objective 1: Maintain and enhance an interactive, practitioner-friendly comprehensive online repository of resources on the NMRC website, including, but not limited to the following core functions.
- Objective 2: Raise awareness and continue the development of mentoring best practices.
- Objective 3: Provide TTA for mentoring organizations and communities interested in developing mentoring programs.
