Pursuant to 34 U.S.C. § 12501, funds under this program must be used to develop, maintain, and disseminate to employers, labor organizations, and victim service providers information and assistance concerning workplace responses to assist victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sexual harassment. Responses may include:
- providing training to promote a better understanding of workplace assistance to victims of domestic or sexual violence or sexual harassment;
- providing conferences and other educational opportunities; and
- developing protocols and model workplace policies.

Grant Period
The award period is 24 months. Budgets, including the total “estimated funding” on the SF-424, must reflect 24 months of project activity. OVW anticipates that the award period will start on February 1, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Pursuant to 34 U.S.C. § 12501(a), the following entities are eligible to apply for this program:
- Nonprofit nongovernmental entities or tribal organizations in the United States or U.S. territories, with demonstrated expertise and experience necessary to establish and operate a national resource center on workplace responses to assist victims of domestic and sexual violence.
- Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments)
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Faith-Based and community organizations, including culturally specific organizations, tribal organizations, and population-specific organizations, that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible to receive awards under this solicitation.
