The EHS program is administered by ACF, an operating division of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). ACF intends to fund applications that demonstrate an organization’s commitment and capacity to operate an EHS program that raises the quality of early care and education in the community and helps children start school ready to succeed.
These EHS-CC Partnerships will enhance and support early learning settings to provide full-day, full-year, comprehensive services that:
- Meet the needs of low-income working families;
- Enhance access to high-quality, full-time child care;
- Support the development of infants and toddlers through strong relationship-based experiences;
- Prepare children for the transition into preschool.
