The Minnesota Department of Education has funding available under Minnesota Statutes, Section 122A.635 for public or private higher education institutions that offer a PELSB-approved teacher preparation program to increase the number of teacher candidates of color or American Indian candidates recommended for Tier 3 licensure across the state, for the benefit of all Minnesota students.
