ETC supports the arts across the United States by awarding cash grants to non-profit performance groups. The grant opportunity is open to all states and counties, with applications due by August 31, 2025.
The grant size ranges from $1,000 to $10,000, though most awards are capped at $5,000 to allow more organizations to benefit. Preference is given to groups that create and produce their own work rather than those that serve primarily as hosting venues.
Eligible applicants must be based in the United States and fall into one of the following categories: a 501(c)(3) non-profit, an accredited public or private school or university, or a federal, state, or local government entity as defined under section 170(c) of the IRS code.
The grant does not support organizations that discriminate on any prohibited basis. It also excludes funding for staff salaries, scholarships, internships, individual or group travel, new construction or renovations, events such as dinners or galas, and advertising or corporate sponsorship in fundraising efforts like auctions or raffles.
