Farmington’s Greater Together Community Fund Committee is now accepting applications for projects that directly benefit the Farmington community. Funding is available to support initiatives that serve all town residents without discrimination based on race, religion, or any other protected class.
Grant requests must be between $500 and $7,500. Eligible organizations must be classified as 501(c)(3) nonprofits or work with a fiscal agent or sponsor to apply. Private foundations and 509(a)(3) charities are not eligible. Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status must partner with a fiscal agent who will manage the funds on their behalf. Towns are allowed to serve as fiscal agents.
Religious organizations can apply, but only for projects that benefit the wider community and not for religious activities. For-profit businesses are not eligible under any circumstances. Organizations that have received funding for the same project for three consecutive years cannot apply for continuation funding for that project.
This is a great opportunity to bring impactful programs to Farmington residents and strengthen community ties with support from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. The deadline to apply is September 19, 2025.
