Eligibility Criteria

• The Foundation for Seacoast Health awards grants to organizations that improve the health and well-being of individuals in the Foundation’s service area, which includes the following 9 towns:
  • New Hampshire: Portsmouth, Newington, New Castle, Greenland, Rye, North Hampton.
  • Maine: Kittery, Eliot, York.
• Eligible Applicants:
  • Organizations currently qualified as tax-exempt under IRC Section 501(c)(3) and not private foundations under Section 509(a).
  • Public Entities: Municipalities, schools, and colleges that impact health.
  • Consortiums or community partnerships with a fiscal agent or sponsor.
