Eligible Use of Funds
Grant funds may be used for general operating expenses that advance the applicant’s mission and core activities, including but not limited to administrative salaries and benefits, payroll expenses, insurance, facility rental, utilities, and contracted professional services.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a nonprofit arts organization domiciled in Louisiana with IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter dated at least one year prior to the application deadline
- Have a mission primarily dedicated to creating, presenting, or preserving one or more recognized artistic disciplines, with at least 70% of organizational activity aligned with that mission
- Be in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State by the application deadline
- Be registered as a vendor in the LaGov Vendor Self-Service Portal
- Possess a valid Unique Entity Identifier (UEI)
Applicants to the Institutional and Advancement tiers must also:
- Have received at least two years of government funding
- Comply with the LDOA Accumulated Deficit Policy demonstrating sufficient financial stability to ensure organizational continuity beyond the grant period
