Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants must be City of Decatur business owners who meet these criteria:
- The business must be located in the City of Decatur.
- The business has paid all appropriate taxes, fees, and other assessments, including property taxes, business license fees, occupation taxes, and ad valorem taxes.
- There are no outstanding judgments against the business.
- There are no current bankruptcy proceedings instituted by or against the business and no current assignments by the company for the benefit of creditors.
- There are no state or federal tax liens currently pending against the business.
- Financial ability to commit matching grants
- Eligibility includes small businesses that operate no more than three stores in Georgia and employ 25 or fewer people to further qualify under these criteria:
- Retail and Restaurant: Annual receipts do not exceed $3.5 million
- Personal and Professional Service: Annual receipts do not exceed $3.5 million.
