Eligibility Criteria
All grants from this Fund must be made for charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes to any organization that is described in IRS code as a 501(c)3 public charity. Qualified organizations also include schools, religious institutions, or government agencies located in City of Huntsville, City of Madison, and/or unincorporated areas of Madison County, AL.
Areas of Exclusion
The following organizations and programs are not eligible for funding.
- Organizations not organized as 501(c)(3) public charities
- Debt reduction
- Endowment campaigns
- Grants to individuals
- Special events
- Annual campaigns
- Membership drives
- Conference expenses
- Political activities, including education initiatives meant to directly influence political activity
