To be eligible, an organization must meet the following criteria:
- Be recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
- Be domiciled (incorporated) in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and/or Ontonagon counties in Michigan and serve the citizens of the same.
- Have a current License to Solicit Charitable Contributions.
- Must not be a religious or educational institution.
- Have a mission related to Copper Shores Community Health Foundation.
- OR raise funds for a specific project at your nonprofit organization that relates to those areas.
- Nonprofits interested in raising money for their cause need to have someone associated with the organization complete this application.
