Grants from the GMCF Community Arts fund are intended to support projects that fit into the category of community and public art programs intended to cultivate a thriving community. Generally, grants are awarded to proposals for projects located in Manhattan and Riley County, Kansas.
Eligibility Criteria
- Proposals should require awards exceeding $10,000. A detailed budget is required to calculate all anticipated project/program expenses.
- Proposals generally should NOT be made for projects requiring ongoing support from GMCF.
- Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) to apply or apply in partnership with a 501(c)(3) organization.
- The funding focus at this time includes support for long-term displays and projects that are free and easily accessible to the public. All art forms are welcome as part of this grant program.
