Types of Grants
Grant request purposes may include, but are not limited to, expansion of disability-related services, purchase of accessible vehicles for transporting clients, facility improvements for greater accessibility, or purchase of equipment or technology that will enable the organization to better serve people with disabilities.
Funding Information
Community Fund Ohio offers two types of grants to individuals who live in Ohio and have a disability. The individual grants are:
- Ohio residents with a disability who receive SSI, Medicaid, or any HCBS Waiver are currently eligible to receive up to $7,500 lifetime.
- Ohio residents with a disability who do not receive SSI, Medicaid, or any HCBS Waiver are currently eligible to receive $2,500 lifetime.
Eligibility Criteria
Community Fund Ohio welcomes applications from all eligible individuals and nonprofit organizations, but will prioritize grant applications that benefit individuals with developmental disabilities to honor the organizations that created Community Fund Ohio.
