The program will provide housing providers operating rental housing units in Unincorporated Alameda County with legal support and other relevant outreach and communications which fosters a healthy rental housing market for both tenants and owners.
Eligibility Criteria
The Applicant must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the Program Administrator contract:
- Submit a complete application per the requirements described in the RFP.
- The Applicant must be an eligible City, a County or other public agency, or a qualified 501(c)(3), or (c) (4), or (c ) (6) non-profit organization or partner with such an organization.
- Be regularly and continuously engaged in the business of providing representation, advisement, or similar services to rental housing providers for at least 3 years in California.
- Demonstrate history of utilizing Federal funds and adhering to Federal guidelines and requirements.
- Demonstrate minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with a variety of cultural backgrounds and language needs.
- All applicants must submit the latest available certified financial audit (within 6 months of its previous fiscal year) of their organization including any management letters for applicable organization Fiscal Year.
- Non-profit organizations must submit evidence of current nonprofit status and an up-to[1]date roster of their Board of Directors, and other organizational documents.
