Details:
Projects should assist in job placement and demonstrate a partnership with employers to ensure that the proposed training will lead to the acquisition of a nationally recognized certification, a skill set certificate, a certificate degree, or a comparable award in the chosen green industry. The grant will provide youth with tangible green industry skills sought by New York State employers and deliver supplementary job tools and resources.

Approximately $4,000,000 in funding is available; $100,000 minimum award amount to $250,000 maximum award amount.
Grant Period
Project Period 3 years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Not-for-profit, 501(c)3 community-based organizations; or
- Native American Tribes and Tribal Organizations who are recognized by New York State; or
- A nonprofit organization, known as a fiscal sponsor, may apply on behalf of an eligible community-based organization.
