Grants of this type may, for example, help organizations acquire or repair musical instruments; acquire, repair, restore or improve performance and training facilities; pay fees and expenses associated with bringing out of town artists and performers into town to perform or offer training and educational experiences to local artists; or help pay costs of producing a performance or program.
  • Grants to support the education, skills training, performance or display opportunities for local artists. These grants may include helping an organization provide scholarships for local artists to attend a training, education program or performance either locally or out of town. Scholarships must be determined by the organization in a non-discriminatory fashion and should consider financial need.
