Objectives
- To manage invasive species and the detrimental effects they pose throughout the state.
- To remove Bradford Pear (Pyrus calleryana) and Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima).
- To assist with management of Bradford Pear (Pyrus calleryana) and Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima).
- To provide support for restoration with native species.
Funding Information
Grant requests must be a minimum of $500 not to exceed $7,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications are open to municipalities, homeowners associations, maintenance corporations, or certified 501 (c)(3) organizations. Eligible projects must be performed on public lands within the community.
- Applicants must have an Employer Identification Number (EIN) – no payment will be made to individuals.
- Cost estimates must be completed by providing two original bids on contractor’s company letterhead.
