This policy applies to all areas of employment and volunteer participation, including recruitment, hiring, training and development, promotion, transfer, termination, layoff, compensation, benefits, social and recreational programs, all other conditions and privileges of employment in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws
K4C provides teens inspiration and financial support to take their ideas and burgeoning projects to the next, increasingly impactful level. These young people are citizen leaders, endeavoring to make and already making a difference in the world. By helping build and better the communities in which they live, they help repair the world.

Eligibility Criteria
Students 18 years of age and under may apply for funds to complete service projects in their communities throughout the United States. If an applicant is over 18 years of age, the project is outside the US, and/or the microgrant amount requested exceeds $1,000, the application will not be considered for a microgrant.
Ineligibility
It is the intent that the grants fund the nuts & bolts of projects so they do not fund the following:
- Stipends
- Facility rentals
- Transportation costs
- Gift cards or event prize money.
