Lodi Community Foundation Grants Program 2025 (California)

Dated: September 12, 2025

The Lodi Community Foundation is pleased to invite eligible 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations serving Lodi-area residents to apply for funding for its 2025 grants cycle.

Donor Name: Lodi Community Foundation

State: California

City: Lodi

Type of Grant: Grant

Deadline: 10/10/2025

Size of the Grant: $1000 to $10,000

Grant Duration: Grant Duration Not Mentioned

Details:

For 2025, the LCF Board has allocated $50,000 to support special projects, programs and/or initiatives serving residents in the Lodi area. The total amount of funding that may be requested by a single organization is up to $5,000.

Eligibility Criteria

  • LCF will consider requests for funding from organizations that:
    • Are nonprofit organizations with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, classified as public charities (not private foundations) under Section 509(a), and designated as 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2) organizations; and
    • Serve residents of the Lodi area.
  • At this time, requests for funding will not be accepted from local government entities/agencies, or local public education agencies such as K-12 public school districts, community colleges, or public universities.

Selection Criteria

LCF will accept applications from eligible organizations proposing projects or activities that support community-based initiatives in the Lodi area. The LCF Board anticipates receiving more requests than there is funding available. Due to limited funding, the review committee will take into consideration the following in its decision-making process:

  • Project Description – The request, impact, and use of funds is clearly stated and understood.
  • Budget – The budget is reasonable, and clearly itemized and stated with a realistic timeline for expending funds.
  • Cost Effective – The use of grants funds is a good financial investment with a high benefit for the cost.
  • Service Area – The project serves residents of Lodi and/or its immediate surrounding areas.
  • Feasibility – The project has a high likelihood of success.
  • Sustainability – The project is expected to have a lasting and measurable impact.
  • Completed – All questions in the application are completed and answered thoroughly.
  • Other – Additional considerations beyond those listed may also be taken into account.
