The Anne Arundel County Department of Health (AACDOH) is seeking community and faith-based behavioral health providers interested in receiving funding to establish or enhance opioid abatement activities that align with the Maryland Office of Overdose Response Five Priority Pillars and specifically the areas of Prevention, Harm Reduction and Recovery.

Funding Information
- Up to $500,000 in Community Grants are available per year for a period of two years
- Up to 25 grants may be awarded
- Grant awards will be a minimum of $20,000 per year and a maximum of $100,000 per year for a period of two years.
Eligible Expenditures
Eligible expenditures include, but may not be limited to:
- Awareness, Education and/or Stigma campaigns
- Evidence-based programs
- Harm reduction activities
- Recovery support services
- Training
- Outreach activities
- Treatment enhancements, not otherwise reimbursed.
Provider Eligibility
In order to be eligible to receive assistance, the provider must:
- Be a behavioral health provider providing Behavioral Health services in Anne Arundel County
- Be in good standing with the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation
- Be in good standing with the Maryland Charities, if applicable
- Be licensed or certified by the appropriate governing body for the services to be funded, if applicable
- Not be a governmental entity
- Be a community or faith-based organization.
