This competitive grant program supports acquisition, improvements and/or development of township, city, and village parks and open spaces located throughout Eaton County.
Funding Information
- The total amount available for the 2025/2026 grant cycle is up to $400,000
- Grant requests for projects between $5,000 and $400,000 will be considered.
Grant Period
July 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Funding for cities, villages, and townships within Eaton County for park and open spaces related improvements who provide recreation, conservation, and natural resource access within locally owned and operated parks and open spaces. Grant projects must be located in Eaton County, Michigan. Grant applications must be submitted by a city, village, or township in Eaton County. Grants for projects within County owned and/or operated parks are not eligible. Awards will only be given for new projects, in progress or completed projects are not eligible.
