The goal is to provide the seed funding to organizations that can build out current programs or create new services that improve the status of categories listed below. The committee will put weight in the final decision toward organizations that can share a vision and long-term plan on how they will address the identified problems and organizations that demonstrate collaboration with other community agencies willing to partner in the effort to improve community wellbeing.
A total of $200,000 is available in this grant round. Up to $50,000 is available for the four categories of Barriers to Work & Prosperity, Child Welfare/Education, Community Health/Safety, Housing Affordability & Homelessness.

Eligibility Criteria
- 501(c)(3) organizations or other IRS approved entities (government entities, school districts, and churches) serving the Joplin area are eligible to apply.
