The City of Salisbury’s Neighborhood Beautification Grants strive to build neighborhood capacity and participation; allow neighborhoods to self-determine improvement priorities; leverage resident involvement and resources to revitalize and reinvest in low & moderate-income neighborhoods; and stimulate the development of partnerships between the City and community groups.
Funding Information
This is a reimbursement grant for a maximum of $2,500 per application.
Eligible Projects
Projects that benefit the neighborhood, not just one property. Eligible projects include, but are not limited to:
- Public art
- Pedestrian amenities
- Landscape improvements
- Tree planting throughout the neighborhood
- Neighborhood clean-up supplies
- Property enhancements/repairs across one block of properties
- Park amenities: dog waste bin, picnic table, benches, etc.
- Neighborhood signage
- Community garden.

Only neighborhoods within Salisbury city limits may apply.
