Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible nonprofit organizations must be located in and serving Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties.
- The Community Foundation will not pursue micro-grant requests to:
- Fund operations for existing programs or pay off deficits
- Reimburse funds directed to a project that is either substantially completed or will be by the time the proposal is considered by the Foundation
- Provide grants to churches and religious organizations. Projects that demonstrate clear community benefit may be considered
- Award support for endowments of any kind. However, from time to time, endowment support may be considered if the fund is to be stewarded by the Community Foundation.
- Provide funding to individuals
- Support event sponsorships.
