Applications are now being accepted for the Nuvance Health Taconic IPA Science Education Grants. This grant program is open to public, private, and parochial secondary teachers in grades 7-12 at licensed and certified schools in Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster counties, New York. The program prioritizes requests for durable equipment that will serve a large number of students.
Applications that demonstrate how the requested equipment will enhance lessons and spur student interest in science-related careers will be given special consideration. Emphasis is also placed on requests that outline how the equipment will help provide a strong educational foundation for college-level curriculum. Additionally, proposals that include equipment sharing across schools within the same district are encouraged.
Grants will range from $500 to $1,000, supporting educational initiatives that foster an engaging science learning environment.
