OCVA is requesting applications from eligible applicants addressing the victim service needs of children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Funding will prioritize where current services are unavailable or inadequate.
Funding Information
- OCVA estimates that $1,566,064 will be available for this grant program through June 30, 2028.
- Applicants may request up to $75,000 per year for each of the two years, for a total award of $150,000.
- Proposals that request over $75,000 for Year One will be considered non-responsive.
Grant Period
July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028.
Eligibility Criteria
Only organizations that previously received the Victims of Child Abuse and Neglect grant are eligible for this funding opportunity. OCVA’s priority is to fund programs that have a clear focus on providing direct services to children. As stated in the VOCA Rule, § 94.1121, eligible providers are those that:
- Are operated by a state/local government2, nonprofit organization3, Tribe, or Tribal organization
- Provide services to victims of crime.
- Can demonstrate a documented history of providing effective services to victims of crime.
- Have financial support from other sources.
- Can demonstrate the organization capacity to provide the proposed services.
