The Oliver County Community Foundation is accepting grant applications to support projects that improve the quality of life for residents in Oliver County, North Dakota. The foundation works under the North Dakota Community Foundation, a nonprofit and tax-exempt organization under IRS code 501(c)(3).
With $25,000 available in funding, the foundation seeks to support local nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Grants can range from $10,000 to $100,000 and will be awarded based on the scope and impact of the proposed project.
Priority will be given to projects that serve a large number of county residents and those led by organizations with limited access to other funding sources. The foundation aims to distribute grants equitably across the county and may approve full or partial funding depending on the nature of the request.
Grants will not be awarded to individuals, political activities, or organizations seeking to influence legislation. Routine operating costs, national organizations, and projects that should be publicly funded will also receive low or no priority.
Religious organizations may apply only if the proposed activity is non-sectarian and serves the broader community, such as a food pantry. Extensions and additional deadlines may be considered at the discretion of the Advisory Committee.
Applications are due by October 13, 2025.
