The Partnering For Youth (PFY) Grant offers structured after-school clubs and activities spanning athletics, STEM, arts, and leadership development. These programs provide students with opportunities to engage in enriching extracurricular activities, receive academic support, and build positive peer relationships in a safe, supervised environment. This project aligns with the LMB’s commitment to promoting the health, safety, and well-being of children and families in the community.
The Queen Anne’s County Local Management Board (LMB) is soliciting proposals for PFY funding allocations. One vendor will be selected to manage and oversee the PFY program across all participating schools for the 2025-2026 school year. This includes responsibility for program administration, staffing, scheduling, and ensuring high-quality programming at each school site. Participating schools currently are:
- Bayside Elementary
- Kennard Elementary
- Matapeake Elementary
- Centreville Middle
- Matapeake Middle
- Stevensville Middle
- Sudlersville Middle.
Funding Priorities
Programs should target at least one of the following focus areas:
- Health
- Education
- Community Life Stability.

Grant Period
August 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
Any organization that currently serves or intends to serve children and their families in Queen Anne’s County can apply. This includes non-profits, private not-for-profits, faith-based organizations, community organizations, public agencies, and all other groups serving or intended to serve youth and families in Queen Anne’s County. Organizations eligible to apply must:
- Have at least two years of operational experience
- Possess a valid tax identification number and recent financial audit
- Demonstrate financial and operational capacity to implement the program
- Comply with all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Maryland Out of School Time Standards
- Provide necessary documentation, including licensing and insurance.
