The Women’s Fund of Porter County empowers, connects, and inspires women in community by collectively supporting initiatives and organizations that are creating positive changes and bettering all lives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations must be organized for tax exempt purposes as set forth in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Organizations that received a $25,000 Women’s Fund grant in 2024 are not eligible to apply this year.
- Please note that project areas NOT considered for funding include the following:
- Projects or programs that do not address issues facing women and/or children;
- Scholarship programs including daycare and program participation fees;
- Annual appeals or membership contributions;
- Event sponsorships;
- Programs that are sectarian or religious in nature;
- Political organizations, programs, or candidates;
- Contributions to endowment campaigns;
- Campaigns to reduce previously incurred debt;
- Individuals;
- Programs already completed and/or equipment already contracted for;
- Travel for bands, sports teams and similar groups;
- Camp scholarships or fees related to camp programs; or
- Recurring professional development opportunities such as annual conferences.
