This program encourages and recognizes teachers engaged in exciting, creative and innovative methods of instruction, and provides funding to implement them throughout Rockland County’s K-12 schools.
Funding Information
- Individual Grants ($200-$500) – programs being implemented by one teacher.
- Group Grants ($500-$1000) – programs implemented by two or more teachers.
Eligibility Criteria
- Teachers may apply for or be included in both types.
- Multiple teachers from a school may apply.
Evaluation Criteria
- Focus and favor will be given to grant applications that align with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics)
- seek to incorporate immersive classroom experiences
- employ creative ways of learning STEAM related subjects
- benefits a number of students
- clarify an itemized budget
- demonstrate evidence of measurable outcomes
- Previous grantees are welcome to apply
- Preference will be given to first-time applicants
- Programs must be completed by the end of the 2025-26 school year.
