The REAP 2.0 Local Suballocation Grant Program (LSGP) Call for Projects focuses on supporting projects that meet the three objectives:
- accelerate infill development to facilitate housing development;
- Affirmative Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH); and,
- reduce Vehicle Miles Traveled. The LSGP is a non-competitive Call for Projects, with an estimated budget of $1,733,320 through REAP 2.0 resources.
Funding Information
Based on KCAG’s full application approved by HCD, a suballocation total of up to $1,733,320 is expected to be available for the LSGP.
Eligible Applicants
- Two or more eligible applicants can apply together in one application. Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to, other local governments, housing authorities, school districts, special districts, universities, transit agencies, and community-based organizations. An eligible applicant may partner with other eligible entities to fulfill one or more projects included in the application. One or more applicants may form a partnership to expend part, or all, of a recipient’s LSGP funding.
- Applicants forming partnerships must provide a legally binding agreement between all partners. Applicants that are considering this are encouraged to discuss their proposals with KCAG staff prior to applying to ensure projects are eligible and the work can be completed prior to the end of the expenditure period.
