The purpose of this social program funding is to support and develop services that support the diverse needs of the residents of the Second District. The goal is that funding will improve the quality of life for the residents. Criteria
There are many factors that are considered during the review process, including but not limited to:
- Amount of funding requested (larger funding requests require greater justification and social benefit)
- Potential positive impact on Second District residents
- Specific population that will be served using the funding
- Benefits of providing one-time funding for the project (and demonstrated understanding that this is not ongoing funding)
- Organization’s history of serving residents of the Second District.
- Funding Guidelines:
- Funding must directly benefit Second District residents
- Support should be considered one-time in nature
- For applicants that have previously received funding, organizations must be up to date on all final reports.
