Details:
This funding opportunity provides home upgrades to support health and safety maintenance, repairs and improvements needed for existing family child care homes.
Many family home child care providers operate on tight month-to-month budgets and struggle to remain afloat under economic pressures such as housing costs, stagnant wages, competition from subsidized preschool programs in schools and centers, and low reimbursement rates. FCCFF awards will enable family home child care providers to meet licensing compliance and improve health and safety conditions within their programs.
This fund will ensure family child care homes can maintain critically needed subsidized slots within their existing programs.
