The Arts Accelerator Grant Program funds schools to create or enhance arts-related spaces in support of one of three goals:
- increasing student engagement through the arts;
- strengthening social-emotional learning (SEL) through the arts; or
- expanding sequential arts instruction.
Funding Information
Schools may request up to $25,000 to pay for consumable supplies and materials and/or non-consumable items and equipment to be delivered and set-up by June 13, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Requirements for Schools
- Each school may apply once per grant program per school year.
- Submissions may only be made by school principals or assistant principals.
- NYC Public Schools community districts serving all grades (3K through 12) are eligible except for schools involved in the Principal Fellows program.
- Schools may request items for more than one art form, but must be explicit about the materials needed for each.
