Details:
A minimum of six (6) weekend performances will be presented outdoors in the park, in the late afternoon or early evening, and will feature material suitable for all audiences. The city will provide a green room for day-of use by the performers and two days of space at a city facility (up to 10 hours) for rehearsal, and one on-location tech rehearsal (up to 5 hours).
Interested applicants are encouraged to attend the Free Theatre in the Parks presentation of Pericles by Coeurage Ensemble, at Kings Road Park, at 4pm on weekends in September through September 21st to view the site.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualified arts organizations will have at least three (3) years of professional experience producing theatre performances. Applicants who live in West Hollywood and are performers of color, women, performers with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ performers are encouraged to apply. The City of West Hollywood elected and appointed officials, its employees, and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply.
