The City of Rocky Mount is inviting proposals for its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Services Program. This grant opportunity supports nonprofit organizations that provide essential public services to the local community.
Funding requests must be between $10,000 and $20,000, and the grant period will run from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. The total grant size ranges from $10,000 to $100,000, depending on the project and available resources.
Eligible uses of funds include a variety of services such as job training, support for disabled veterans, crime prevention, disability services, child care, senior services, health and welfare services (excluding direct income payments), substance abuse counseling and treatment, down payment assistance, educational programs, and recreational services.
Applicants must be IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, have a valid DUNS number, and be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). The application deadline is July 22, 2025.
