Funding Information
The maximum grant amount is $1,500.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Recruiting workers and volunteers for poll monitoring and other election protection work.
- Sharing reliable and accurate information about voting and elections to their members
- Ensuring enough polling locations are accessible in one’s communities
- Building relationships with local election officials and creating opportunities for community conversation
- Building bridges in one’s community through a book group, film screening, or community service project.
- Creating space for healthy civic conversation and religious literacy training.
- Providing food and water at polling locations with long lines
Requirements
- Awardees must utilize Interfaith America’s Playbook in their project.
- Only non-partisan projects focused on contributing to smoothly run elections will be supported (such as transportation to the polls, information about polling locations and logistics, recruiting poll workers, etc).
- Up to $750 (or 50% of total budget) may be allocated to self-compensation.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be members of the Emerging Leaders Network who are not undergraduate students. Projects must be carried out in the U.S.
