Objectives
Participate in a deliverables-based contract by submitting deliverables to the Commerce contract representative in order to receive reimbursement.
- Maintain services and emergency shelter beds for families experiencing homelessness.
- Utilize the following best practices in service delivery: housing first with low barrier access, harm reduction strategies, client-centered supportive services, trauma-informed care, and d escalation/crisis intervention.
- Enter household data into the Homeless Management Information System, following data timeliness and accuracy requirements.
Funding Information
Commerce has budgeted an amount not to exceed $150,000 for this project.
Project Period
November 5, 2025 and to end on June 30, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for this grant, applicants must be:
- Licensed to do business in Washington or submit a statement of commitment that it will become licensed in Washington within thirty (30) calendar days of being selected as the Apparent Successful Contractor.
- Be a nonprofit organization.
- Have at least 1 year experience serving families experiencing homelessness.
- Currently operating a family center and emergency shelter beds for families experiencing homelessness in South King County.
