Eligibility Criteria
- Applications are open to all artists, architects, designers, arts organizations, community-based organizations, and nonprofits located in Houghton or Keweenaw Counties and lands that lie within the Ceded Territories and Home Territories of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community, as defined by the 1842 Treaty.
- The selected artist will:
- Develop a concept that reflects the community’s identity and values.
- Use durable, transportable materials that support segmented assembly.
- Ensure segments can be connected seamlessly for a cohesive visual display.
- Provide installation and maintenance guidelines.
