Shared-use facilities that promote learning, innovation, entrepreneurship, and training are vital infrastructure for the county’s growing circular bioeconomy sector. The Stanislaus Wet Lab & Training Facilities Fund supports the purchase of equipment and development of facilities that provide local students and workers with industry-aligned job training opportunities. Projects must advance access to good jobs and career pathways in underserved communities, with a focus on expanding job training opportunities for target beneficiary populations identified by the American Rescue Plan Act
Funds may be used to build local capacity through:
- Workforce training and lab equipment for hands-on skill development;
- Incubator spaces for early-stage businesses that enable job training opportunities; or
- Community-accessible laboratory facilities that enable broader participation in science, technology, and innovation.

Funding Information

Eligibility Criteria
Projects must be deployed in Stanislaus County. Educational institutions, local governmental entities and school districts, and 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply. Applicants must serve one or more target beneficiary populations.
