501c3 nonprofits, municipalities and schools who serve in Berrien County.

Winning projects will include some or all of the following: 

• Increase student access to evidence-based and culturally relevant trauma support services and mental health care in schools or other organizations.
• Promote worker mental wellness.
• Improve responses to violence and abuses in the communities.
• Mitigate toxic stress.
• Integrate knowledge about trauma into policies, procedures and practices.
• Build a project/activity to help a school increase its ability to help students learn in a trauma-sensitive environment.
