Each Microgrant will be $1000 dollars, to be used for game design. This includes, but is not limited to, purchase of materials, promotional art/materials, prototyping, kickstarter funds, etc. All grant recipients must keep their invoice and receipts for items purchased.
Who is eligible?
- Those who are considered BILPOC. BILPOC is defined by Health Communities Foundation as “Black, Indigenous, Latinx and/or any People of Color.” This microgrant will be utilized for persons who are a part of marginalized communities.
- Female+ is an LGBTQ terminology which includes: assigned female at birth, female transgender, nonbinary, and gender fluid individuals.
- This is a national grant only. At this time, international applicants are not eligible.
- Game designers for board games, card games, party games, and tabletop RPG games are eligible to apply.
- Applicants will be asked to submit their name, preferred contact information, a headshot (optional), a breakdown of what the funds would be used for, and any social media accounts.
