Eligible Services and Activities for Funding
- Physical wellness programs (ex: fitness classes, movement, fall prevention, yoga, tai chi, walking groups, etc.)
- Mental and emotional health supports (ex: mindfulness, stress reduction, peer support, creative arts, etc.)
- Social connection and enrichment activities (ex: lifelong learning, group outings, intergenerational programs, etc.)
- Nutrition and food access supports (ex: congregate meals, nutrition education, cooking classes, etc.)
- Health education and preventive services (ex: workshops, wellness navigation, etc.)
- Technology access and digital literacy programs, promoting independence and connection
- Caregiver education, respite, and support services
- Transportation or mobility support that enable participation in community activities
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants include nonprofit and community-based organizations.
- Serve 65 and older Gig Harbor residents
- Provide one or more eligible services or activities
