Grant Priorities
The organization must serve older adults, age 65+, through one or more of the following:
- Support Independent Living: provide services that enable older adults to live independently, outside of institutional settings, and address specific needs that allow independent living in their home to continue.
- Wellness & Physical Activity: opportunities that encourage improved health for older adults through wellness and physical activities.
- Social & Recreational Services: positive social and recreational opportunities for older adults who are otherwise isolated or unable to participate in community programs.
Funding Information
Up to $30,000.
Grant Period
12 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- The organization must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
- The organization must do work that aligns with the grant priorities.
- The organization must demonstrate 100% board participation in support of the mission, in addition to attending meetings. Board participation consists of: time, talent, treasure, ties, or testimony.
- The organization must provide services in Canadian, Cleveland, or Oklahoma counties.
- The organization must be able to provide its most recent tax return and most recent IRS determination letter, if requested.
- The organization must be in good standing with OCCF.
- This includes meeting all requirements for any previous grants.
- Organizations that received Service for Older Adults funding in FY25 may reapply for FY26 with
- a successful Final Report submitted.
- Organizations may submit only one LOI for this grant cycle.
